Off the beaten path is like home away from home. Reliable WiFi if you need to work. They have our favorite coffee in steamboat. They also have great treats- we love the triple berry scone and birthday cookie. They have an excellent selection of books, new and used, liked. Their staff is very friendly. And the space is very intentional. I’m especially grateful for the kids area for reading and exploring. We go here every single day we’re in steamboat. It’s a place that is welcoming, cozy and calming. Everything you’d want in a bookstore.

Between a wide range of coffees, teas, pasteries, and the varied seating there is no lack of places to settle in and do homework or dive into a good book. Their collection doesn't only offer classics but entails books for all ages ranges as well as manga and comic books. If you're looking for a trinket or art supplies, they also have a generous sampling of these. Warmly decorated with tons of employee recommendations this spot is a gem of the community.

Every town needs a bookstore and this is certainly a gem in downtown Steamboat springs. Selling both new and used books and offering coffee, excellent quiche and pastry, including an amazing Berry scone, you can go upstairs, get comfortably situated at the bar or at a table and read for as long as you want.

A very cozy little bookstore, that also offers delicious coffee options (other options available as well. The matcha latte is abnormally delicious!) It even has a little seating area up top for you to sit and read a book, drink, and eat. The selections on books might be small compared to a larger store, like barnes and nobles, but it has something for just about everyone and is a great place to relax
